At Art From Awareness, I offer private lessons either individually or in groups that are meant to engage the specific interests of the kids involved. Before we meet, I want to know what your children in particular are interested in. I want to know anything about who your kids are so that my programs will respond and encourage those parts of them. Because above all, my programs are designed to appeal to their higher awareness and common sense. Without pressure, my goal is to lead the kids to the place inside them where their creativity and intelligence will flow naturally. Ultimately, I hope that my lessons will encourage them to look inside themselves for answers and that they will find joy through that creative process.

INDIVIDUALS

Lessons taught on a 1-on-1 basis, where I design a custom art project or program to fit both the needs of the parents and the children. Lessons are held at either the Logemann Community Center, or in the home of the child. Lesson examples include:

-How to Draw Cartoons

-How to Draw Horses

-Paint a Landscape in 5 minutes

-History of Landscapes

-History of Portraits

-History of Rembrandt

Rate: $40/hr

Supplies: Cost not included in rate, vary depending on project

*I encourage parents to sit in on the lessons so that they can enjoy seeing their kids take on these projects

GROUPS

Lessons taught in groups at Art from Awareness can occur at the request of parents in the comfort of their own home or at the Logemann Community Center. Lesson topics will be determined either by me or in collaboration with the parents. Groups can be any size. A group is considered to be multiple families. I'll also travel to any location that a group may already have access to, or where they typically meet as in the case of homeschool communities.

Rate: $100/hr per family (up to ten kids per family/$10 per additional child)
